- Candidates passed 12th (Intermediate) examination Recognized Board in India.
- If you are applying as an individual Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE), a Local Cable Operator (LCO), an
- Internet Service Provider (ISP), or part of a Self-Help Group (SHG):
- Minimum Education: Basic Literacy / Class 8th to 10th Pass is generally sufficient to manage the billing portal and
- consumer accounts.
- Core Requirement: You must have a registered commercial entity (like a proprietorship or partnership) and basic
- computer literacy to handle BSNL's partner systems.
- 2. Technical Skill Eligibility (For the Field Work)
- If you or your hired staff are executing the physical fiber installation, the Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC)
- recommends the following technical criteria to ensure quality deployment:
- Broadband Technician / Splicer: Class 12th Pass OR Class 10th + ITI / Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics,
- Telecommunication, or relevant technical fields.
- Distributor / Field Salesman: Class 10th Standard Pass OR ITI Pass.
- Certification: Preference is given to individuals who have underwent fiber-splicing or telecom layout training
- programs (such as Skill India telecom certificates)
