- Pharmacy Stream : Candidates must have passed or appeared in 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and either Mathematics or Biology as an optional subject.
- Medical Stream : Candidates must have passed or appeared in 10+2 (or equivalent) with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects.
- Agriculture Stream : Candidates must have passed I.Sc or I.Sc in Agriculture, as per the seat requirements of the respective college.

Exam Pattern
- Subjects: The exam is divided into sections based on subject groups like PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), PCB
- (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), or PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology).
- Questions: Each subject paper contains 100 objective-type questions.
- Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes (90 minutes) is allotted per subject paper.
- Marking: 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer, and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect response.
Candidates must qualify the exam by securing the minimum qualifying marks (usually 50% for General and 40% for Reserved categories).
Following the exam, qualified candidates participate in the centralized counselling process to fill course and college choices
