The JEE Advanced 2026 syllabus comprises comprehensive Class 11 and 12 physics, chemistry, and mathematics topics, focusing on in-depth understanding rather than rote memorization. It is distinct from the JEE Main syllabus, emphasizing advanced application-based questions. Key focus areas include electrodynamics, physical/organic chemistry, and integral calculus.  Key Syllabus Highlights by Subject (2026) Physics: General physics, Mechanics, Thermal Physics, Electricity and Magnetism, Optics, Modern Physics, and Electrostatics. Chemistry: Physical (Mole concept, Atomic structure, States of matter, Electrochemistry), Inorganic (Periodic table, Transition elements), and Organic (Hydrocarbons, Polymers, Biomolecules) chemistry. Mathematics: Algebra, Matrices, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry, Differential/Integral Calculus, and Vectors.  Key Admission Criteria & Details Exam Date: May 17, 2026. Eligibility: Top 2,50,000 candidates from JEE Main 2026, aged 18+ (born on or after Oct 1, 2001), passed Class 12 in 2025 or 2026. Format: Two mandatory computer-based papers (Paper 1 & 2), including single/multiple correct, and numerical questions.
